When is summer time I like to buy corn for my kids almost every time I went for shopping, and when I see the corn on sale then I have to buy its and every time I buy, I have to buy at least 10 corns sometime 12 corns, this because I have 4 kids, my 7 years old girl like to eat boil corn more than anything else but the other three like to eat cream corn.
Cream corn is easy and quick to make and is a good dessert after every meal.
Ingredients:
Corn
Sugar
Half and half or milk
Directions:
Slice corn and put all the corn in the pot
Pour in half and half until half & half is cover the corn
Turn on stove, and put sugar in the corn and stir, is your suggestion how much sugar you want to put in the corn start from ¼ cup first then test it after the corn is boiling, if you want more sweet then put in more sugar by using spoon measure the sugar to make sure you will not over load the sugar into the corn pot and the corn is already sweet so you don’t need a lot of sugar to make cream corn.
Let the corn boiling for about 5 minutes and turn off the stove, stir, cover with the lid and you are ready to eat when the corn is warm. Enjoy.
You can use milk if you don’t have half and half, it is test good like you make with half and half, and I have done that. In my country we use fresh coconut milk to make cream corn and other dessert and it test so good.
